Marc K. McKay began
his career as a solo practitioner in Jackson but soon relocated to his hometown,
Ridgeland, where he built a successful real estate, chancery and personal injury
practice. John S. Simpson began
practice in 1989 with a Jackson law firm then merged his well-developed consumer
credit practice with Marc McKay in 1997. After four years of success as McKay &
Simpson, PLLC, the firm more than doubled its capacity with the merger of a
practice group of partners from a Jackson law firm in March 2001.
Edward E. Lawler, Jr., began his
career in 1982 as a law clerk to the United States Bankruptcy Judge for the
Southern District of Mississippi, and has experience in all aspects of
creditor's rights. J. Mark Franklin,
III, has been involved in lender liability defense and business litigation
since 1987. R. Keith Foreman, in
practice since 1988, is an accomplished litigator in Mississippi's state and
federal courts.
